Martyr Seyed Mohammad Ali Rahimi travelled to Multan city of Pakistan in 1995, as I.R. Iran Counselor and head of the Iranian culture House. His wife and two sons and his only daughter accompanied him in that journey.
The basic aims of his peaceful mission were to promote Islamic culture, introduce and promote the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and establishment of unity between Shia and Sunni.
His mission lasted only one and half year. During his short lasting mission before becoming martyr, he programmed and hold several lectures, meetings, seminars and gatherings on issues related to his aims and missions such as, the necessities of unity between Shia and Sunni, Persian language, Islamic and Iranian arts, use of computer in promoting Islamic culture, Commemoration of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Quds day, the anniversary of the death of Imam Khomeini and also meetings to Tribute Eqhbal Lahore and several other related issues. His programs and activities were all warmly welcomed by the people of Pakistan.
Peaceful and harmless cultural program and activities of martyr Rahimi and other dutiful employees of the Iranian culture house in Multan were not tolerated by ruthless Wahhabi terrorist groups and were considered to be threat to the Wahhabi terrorist violent missions. Hence, in February 1997, the Wahhabi terrorist group’s corps attacked Iranian culture house and violently killed Seyed Mohammad Ali Rahimi and seven other Shia and Sunni employees by shooting directly to their heads ruthlessly.
They killed and martyred Seyed Mohammad Ali Rahimi (mercy of Allah and peace be upon him), but his memory and objectives will live forever.
